Out with the old, in with the lower credit card debt.


Last night I pushed a handful of books to eBay after trying unsuccessfully to sell them locally. Here's a set of links to the lot:


The most impressive out of the lot is this beast (pictured above, Mother Goose in Prose), which is currently listed on other sites for $2200-$3200. I expect to draw less than $1k from it, but just in case the right buyer is out there, have a "Buy it Now" option on it for $1500. Fingers crossed. This was a big book, a first for the illustrator Maxfield Parrish, and an early Frank Baum title, in which appears the story of a young girl named Dorothy before the Wizard of Oz had been penned.
